I live in Pinon Oaks! The highest point on my home lot is 5134 feet above sea level (Mean Sea Level or MSL and one mile equaling 5280 feet). This is the approximate altitude of most homes in the subdivision. Pinon Oaks is about the same altitude of the quaint and colorful old mountain mining town of Jerome, Arizona to the east of Prescott. You have to visit Jerome.
Some of the background and facts about our subdivision:
There are…635 approximate homes, with 7 or so vacant building lots for a total of 642 total properties, in Pinon Oaks. Most of the vacant lots are owned and some are in the process of houses being built on. Only 1 vacant lot is not sold recently, according to Boyce Bryce, the owner and developer. Pinon Oaks comprises 635 homes on both sides of Pioneer Parkway.
Year started: 1995
Who started: Boyce Bryce and Phillip Larson conceived of and started the subdivision of Pinon Oaks. Sadly, Boyce Bryce’s son Lincoln Bryce and Boyce’s business partner Phillip Larson were killed when their small aircraft crashed, just after takeoff from the Prescott Airport in 2001, while enroute to help with a humanitarian cause in Mexico.
