Yavapai Regional Medical Center East Campus (YMRC) is about 6 miles East of us in Prescott Valley.
Other Emergency Medical Facilities are around. One is on Willow Creek about 4 miles from here and another just past Fry’s Grocery, about 3 miles South of here.
The Veteran’s Administration (VA) Hospital and complex is about 6 miles from Pinon Oaks located at the site of the old Fort Whipple complex on Highway 89. My husband goes there and considers it one of the best of the VA facilities he’s gone to in three States, with very professional and personal care medical aid. Any medical issue the VA or Yavapai Regional Medical Center cannot cope with is by helicopter medivac to Phoenix. My husband flew helicopters and drools about flying the “Native Air” chopper at YMRC.
